Jay-Z - Blueprint 3
The Blueprint 3, scheduled for release Feb '09, makes me think Jay-Z might be coming out with an album I will actually listen to for more than a month. Kingdom Come and American Gangster were weak albums. One a weak follow up to the blockbusting Black Album. The second, a half soundtrack/half jigga album that was good but disapointing. Now that it is confirmed this will be the third blueprint album, my expectations are raised. Jay-Z can't tarnish the blueprint name.. can he? It is reassuring that Kanye is producing this album. He has his finger on the pulse and we know that these beats he's making for hov are going to be hot because he didn't use any of them on his upcoming album. Kanye's hip-hop creativity needs an outlet, and here it comes in the form of Blueprint 3. It's like hov......
Slated for the new album:
All Jay-Z aside, another song off Kanye's upcoming album was just released. I've covered pretty much every song's release since Love Lockdown came out, and it might be getting old but this track has lil wayne singing on it. Must post. ("tell everyone that you know" -Kanye West/"tell all your friends" -Taking Back Sunday. coincidence? prob..)
